In-Depth Review
Champion Energy Services was founded in 2005, which is relatively late as compared some of Texas' larger and more established electric companies. However, in late 2006, they purchased Mpower, which had been competing in Texas since market opening. The combined entity makes Champion one of the top 20 retail electric providers in deregulated markets in the U.S.
Other positive steps Champion Energy Services has taken to benefit their customers include offering a "blend and extend" option for customers wishing to extend the term of their contract. Champion's contracts are relatively straightforward, with no sneaky loopholes such as congestion and other non standard pass-throughs.
Without digging too deep, you find that Champion Energy was owned by Lehman Brothers (NYSE: LEH) until June 2008, just before their infamous collapse. Lehman Brothers was an international bank, founded in 1850, with 2006 net revenues of over $17.5 billion. Champion Energy Services is now privately owned. Champion Energy Services receives supply backing from Eagle Energy Partners, who, as of 2006, markets approximately 1.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas and over 35,000 megawatt hours of electricity a day.
With an emphasis on commercial customers, Champion has the resources to provide world-class customer service to all its customers by providing a personal account manager that is only a phone call away.
As many Texas electric companies have done, Champion Energy Services has chosen to work with companies like Eisenbach Consulting, LLC to offer services to consumers. Eisenbach Consulting is proud to offer Champion Energy's services to customers in Texas.
If you wish to lock-in the best rates from among the best Texas electric companies, please contact Eisenbach Consulting and we'll be glad to help you choose a provider and execute an energy agreement.
